Jocelyn is responsible for providing instructional coaching and support to students, teachers, and administrators implementing evidence-based and inclusive practices. She has worked with students with and without disabilities at the secondary level for more than a decade. Jocelyn coordinated the Content Literacy ContinuumTM framework, a tiered instruction approach to improving learning outcomes for all students. Her specialties include tiered interventions, inclusive practices, instructional coaching, teacher leadership, and school-wide change.
Jocelyn earned her M.Ed. in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Certificate in Supervision and Administration from Shenandoah University. She is a SIMTM Professional Developer in both Learning Strategies and Content Enhancement Routines. In 2010, she was selected as a Virginia Department of Education Aspiring Special Education Leader.
