Virginia ASCD FIRST Conference

Description: Virginia's Association for Curriculum and Development (ASCD) FIRST conference is specifically designed for pre-K and kindergarten teachers. An outstanding lineup of presenters and workshop presenters highlight the program. Topics include the role of play in learning, early literacy and numeracy instructional strategies, reducing problem behaviors, connecting with families, and social-emotional learning.

Intended Audience: General education and special education administrators, guidance counselors, occupational therapists, paraprofessionals, physical therapists, speech pathologists, and general and special education teachers
