Dana McCaleb is a Coordinator of Instruction at the Virginia Tech Training and Technical Assistance Center, where she provides instructional leadership, professional learning, coaching, and systems-change support for educators and school leaders. With nearly three decades in education, Dana specializes in building educator capacity to implement evidence-based literacy and instructional practices that improve outcomes for students with and without disabilities.

Her expertise includes specially designed instruction, inclusive practices, multi-tiered systems of support, adolescent literacy, co-teaching, instructional coaching, teacher leadership, and data-informed school improvement. She specializes in building educators' and school leaders' capacity to implement research-based practices and sustain meaningful, system-wide improvements. Dana holds a B.S. from Radford University and an M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Lynchburg.
